Rough weather settles down

Rough weather settles down but more on the way
The country will have a brief reprieve from unsettled spring weather with a couple of days of sunshine. Before another shower over the south island.

A weak anti cyclone is moving over the country bringing settled weather across nearly the entire country. Met service spokes man Daniel Corbett. Said how ever the remnants of the weekends southerly chill could make overnight frosts to North island.

Wednesday should start of fine and dry many parts of  New Zealand. but another shower will spread more wind and rain in the South island he said.

A tornado flattened an old wooden Theatre on the South island's west coast tearing of roofs and shattering windows as it rippled through hector and Ngakawau on Sunday night. the twister struck at 12.30 am on the Ngakawau river about 30 km north west of west port.
